Evaluation of online therapy to
improve mental health
Have you been struggling with low mood? Is your mood affecting your focus and functioning? The treatment evaluated in the Blended4Blues study is designed to give you the support and tools to manage and improve your mood. Over 10 weeks you will learn strategies from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) on how to reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety that many people have found effective.
Key facts:
Online course: You will learn about what affects your mood and how you can improve how you feel using techniques from CBT.
Skills practice: You will learn techniques on how to cope with challenging thoughts and feelings, set goals, and how to take action change your mood.
Weekly Video Visits and Written support: In 1-on-1 appointments (about 45 minutes), you and your therapist also have a space to discuss your progress, as well as things in your situation that are not covered in the online course. To help your progress, you will also receive feedback on your practice after every part of the online course
Video Visits and Written support are included for 50% of study participants (random assignment).
